Running Shorthand on Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows VistaTM
If you are new to Shorthand:
You should use Shorthand Version 10 on Windows 8, Windows
7, XP, Vista or Server
You should use Shorthand Version 9 on Windows
2000, NT, Me, 98, 95.
If you own a Shorthand 7, 8 or 9 License:
Sh7/Sh8/Sh9 will not work correctly with Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows Vista and we recommend you upgrade to Shorthand

Shorthand 10 is designed for Windows Vista and works with Windows 7 and Windows 8
Shorthand Version 10
is a 32-bit Windows program and works with 64-bit Windows.
Sh10 can read your Sh8/Sh9 word lists (copy your Sh8/Sh9 .spf files
from your old computer
to your new computer then
choose OPEN from Sh10's FILE
menu to load in your Sh8/Sh9 word lists).
Sh10 comes with a free 30 day license.
If you wish to keep Sh10, you will need to
purchase a license.
We offer a discount for licensed users of previous versions
if you had purchased Shorthand before please
follow the upgrade instructions.
NOTE: Please make sure Shorthand works
properly on your computer before purchasing
a license as
